Available as anoptional extra is the new AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension with electronically controlled damping.It enables the damping characteristics to be modified at the touch of a button. Using the AMG DRIVE UNIT, the driver of the SLS AMG Roadster is therefore able to choose his own suspension setup. In "Comfort" mode it glides along elegantly and calmly, while those who prefer a tauter ride can choose the "Sport Plus" mode.
In addition, a further feature inspired by the world of motorsport - and highly suited to the character of the sports car - is also available in the form of the AMG Performance Media system. It provides the driver not only with high-speed mobile internet access at all times, but also access to numerous telemetric displays. Those looking to test the Roadster on a racetrack can display lap times in real time via the RACETIMER feature.
